TTF Club Meetings Held for the First Time: A Message of Unity in Turkish Tennis
The Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) has successfully hosted the inaugural TTF Club Meetings on August 12–14, 2025, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Ankara.
Over three days, 160 clubs from across Türkiye came together with TTF President
Şafak Müderrisgil, members of the TTF Board of Directors, and heads of
sub-committees. The first day welcomed clubs from the Marmara and Aegean
regions, the second day from the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and Black Sea
regions, and the final day from the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
Designed to help shape the future of Turkish tennis, the meetings featured two
sessions each day: a club consultation session followed by a review and
evaluation session. Discussions addressed both opportunities and challenges
facing clubs, with exchanges on topics including training infrastructure,
player development, tournament organization, and sponsorship opportunities.
Participants took concrete steps toward stronger cooperation and joint
strategies. It was noted that the insights and proposals gathered during the
meetings would guide the development of future policies and strategies for
Turkish tennis.
Speaking about the TTF Club Meetings, President Şafak Müderrisgil said:
“The TTF Club Meetings mark the first step towards a new vision and a strong
future for Turkish tennis. Over three days, by listening directly to the needs
and goals of our clubs, we reached consensus on a common roadmap that will
shape the future of the sport in our country. The greatest strength of our tennis
ecosystem lies in the shared wisdom, solidarity, and cooperation we build
together with our clubs.
Since taking office nine months ago, we have been implementing our projects
under the ‘Turkiye Tennis Initiative’ with the vision of ‘Tennis for Everyone.’
We know that our clubs are not just stakeholders in this process; they are the
very foundation and strongest supporting pillars of Turkish tennis. The TTF
Club Meetings serve as a key platform for the vision that will carry our clubs
into the future.
In the coming period, we will achieve major progress with this synergy. I thank
all participating clubs and everyone who contributed. Together, we are starting
a new era in Turkish tennis.”
