Trophies Awarded at the Wheelchair Tennis World Team Cup

The top-performing teams have been determined at the Wheelchair Tennis World Team Cup, held from 6 to 11 May 2025 at Ali Bey Club Manavgat in Antalya, with the participation of 44 teams from 20 countries.


Hosted by Türkiye for the fifth time, the BNP Paribas World Team Cup, the most prestigious tournament on the ITF wheelchair tennis calendar, concluded today with the final and placement matches.


In the Quad category, the Netherlands defeated Brazil 2-0; in the Women’s category, the Netherlands triumphed over Japan 2-1; in the Men’s category, Japan beat Chile 2-0; and in the Junior category, Great Britain claimed the title with a 2-0 win over the United States.


Representing Türkiye in three categories, the national teams placed 8th in the Quad category, 11th in the Women’s category, and 14th in the Men’s category.


Trophies were presented to the winning teams by ITF Board Member Jordi Tamayo, TTF Board Member Eda Sevaioğlu Tan, and TEB Mediterranean Regional Director Gonca Aydın.
