Information Regarding the Cancellation of International Tournaments

The Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) was honored with a prestigious award during the award session of the Tennis Europe Annual General General Assembly, held in Gdansk, Poland, between March 19–21, 2026.

In accordance with the information provided by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), due to the ongoing developments in the Middle East, we have been notified that the ITF tournaments planned to be held in Türkiye during the weeks of April 6, 2026, and April 13, 2026, have been removed from the calendar.

Organized in cooperation with the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) and UN Women Türkiye’s HeForShe initiative, the "Women in Sports Leadership Workshop" was held in Istanbul on March 10, 2026.

In accordance with previous information provided by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), it was shared with the public that certain ITF tournaments planned to be held in Antalya were canceled due to the ongoing developments in the Middle East.

In line with the developments in the Middle East, the safe return process of our athletes Ergi Kırkın, Mert Alkaya, and Yankı Erel, along with our referee Toygar Alagöz, who were in the region to participate in the ATP Challenger Fujairah Open, has been closely and coordinately followed by the Turkish Tennis Federation.
