A Strong International Collaboration
As one of the world's leading brands, Haier's robust position within the global tennis ecosystem stands out. The fact that Haier serves as a Gold Partner of the ATP Tour and one of the official partners of Roland Garros further enhances the international value of this cooperation.
A Strategic Step for Turkish Tennis
Evaluating the partnership during the press launch, Turkish Tennis Federation President Ms. Şafak Müderrisgil expressed the following:
"Collaborating with a brand like Haier, which possesses strong global ties to tennis, is an extremely valuable step for Turkish tennis. Bringing the experience of Haier—a Gold Partner of the ATP Tour and an official partner of Roland Garros—to our country represents not just a sponsorship, but also the sharing of knowledge, vision, and international standards.
This organization holds a special meaning for us as it is the first ATP Challenger tournament to be organized at the TTF Istanbul Tennis Training Center. With this tournament, we aim to further strengthen Istanbul's position on the international tennis calendar.
As the Turkish Tennis Federation, our goal is to make tennis more accessible while building a structure reinforced by international achievements. In this regard, we believe that such strong and strategic collaborations will make significant contributions to the development of Turkish tennis. We trust that these partnerships established with brands that generate global value will carry our country forward on the international tennis stage by offering more opportunities to our athletes."
Strong Support for Turkish Tennis from Haier
In her assessment, Haier Europe General Manager for Türkiye, Southern Europe, and Emerging Markets, Gözde Küçükyılmaz, stated:
"As Haier, the world's number one major appliances brand, we view sports—and tennis in particular—as a powerful domain that aligns with our values of discipline, performance, and sustainable success. We are delighted to bring the collaborations we have established globally with prestigious organizations such as the ATP Tour and Roland Garros to Türkiye.
The vision and determination of the Turkish Tennis Federation to bring an ATP Challenger level tournament to our country is highly valuable. We thank them for bringing this important organization to Türkiye.
With the Haier Bosphorus Challenger Cup, we are not only supporting a tournament but also aiming to contribute to the development of tennis culture in Türkiye and create an inspiring platform for young athletes. Being a part of such an important event in a city like Istanbul, which connects two continents, perfectly aligns with our brand's international vision. We will bring our 'Play with the Number One' philosophy to our users in Türkiye through this sponsorship.
In the coming period, we will continue to invest in sports and its unifying power, continuing to create value on both global and local scales."
Top-Tier Tennis Excitement in Istanbul
While the Haier Bosphorus Challenger Cup demonstrates once again Istanbul's rising appeal for international sports organizations, it also aims to reinforce Türkiye's organizational strength in the field of tennis.
In line with its "Tennis for Everyone" (Herkes için Tenis) vision, the Turkish Tennis Federation will continue to support the development of Turkish tennis in a sustainable manner through national and international collaborations.
