Public Announcement

Information Regarding the ATİK April 23 Cup

In line with the current conditions arising from the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, the ATİK April 23 Cup (Under 12 Category 1) tournament, which was planned to be held in Antalya during the week of April 13, 2026, but was canceled by Tennis Europe (TE), will now be held under "closed tournament" status following consultations between TE and the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF).

This decision was taken within the framework of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rules and the Tennis Europe (TE) Health, Safety, and Security Regulations regarding tournaments to be held in Türkiye.

Under this status, the tournament will be open only to athletes competing under the Turkish flag and players residing in Türkiye. Athletes who are not registered under the Turkish flag but have permanent residency in Türkiye are required to submit their residency documents to the Turkish Tennis Federation.

Through this arrangement, it is aimed to ensure that our athletes can compete in an organization featured on the Tennis Europe calendar to earn international points, while also protecting the planning of our clubs to a certain extent.

The Turkish Tennis Federation continues to work in cooperation with relevant national and international stakeholders to prevent any grievances for our athletes and clubs affected by the cancellations; and continues its initiatives on alternative solutions and organizational models.

Developments will continue to be shared with the public.

Respectfully announced to the public.
