Three Names from Türkiye Appointed to Committees and Commissions for the International Tennis Federation's 2026–2027 Term
Following the International Tennis Federation's (ITF)
announcement of its Committee and Commission structure for the 2026–2027 term,
which includes over 230 representatives from 70 countries, it has been
announced that three names from Türkiye have been elected to the committees and
commissions.
Turkish Tennis Federation President Ms. Şafak Müderrisgil,
Turkish Tennis Federation Masters Board President Mr. Okan Okyay, and Turkish
Tennis Federation Health Board Member Mr. Sercan Yıllı are among the names from
Türkiye selected for the ITF's committees and commissions.
In this context, the names who will represent Türkiye are as
follows:
Ms. Şafak Müderrisgil – Advantage All Committee
Mr. Okan Okyay – Masters Committee
Mr. Sercan Yıllı – Sport Science and Medicine Commission
These three names will contribute to the ITF's global
efforts in critical areas such as athlete health and scientific studies,
inclusivity and equality policies, and the development of masters tennis
organizations.
The representatives, selected in line with the ITF2024+4
strategy set forth by the ITF, carry great importance in terms of strengthening
Türkiye's position among the influential countries in tennis governance while
increasing the visibility of Turkish tennis in the international arena.
