Türkiye is in the Quarter-Finals of the World Cup Finals

Our 16 & Under Boys' National Team, consisting of Kaan Işık Koşaner, Samim Filiz, and Ziya Aydın Ayberk, defeated Ecuador 2-1 and advanced to the quarter-finals in the Davis Cup Junior Finals for the first time in our history.

In the first match of the series, Samim Filiz defeated Sergio Castro Loedel 4-6, 6-0, 7-5, putting Türkiye 1-0 ahead. In the second match of the series, Kaan Işık Koşaner defeated Jaime Robles 6-3, 6-0, bringing the score to 2-0 and carrying Türkiye to the quarter-finals. In the last match of the series, the duo of Ziya Aydın Ayberk/Samim Filiz lost to Jaime Robles/Sergio Loedel Castro 3-6, 6-4, 11-9, and the series concluded with a 2-1 victory for Türkiye.

The quarter-final match, where our nationals will face South Korea, will take place on Friday, November 7.

Our national team is coached by Mr. Umut Alptekin and Mr. Taha Erün, with Mr. Necdet Kaya serving as the fitness coach.
