Strategic Cooperation Between the Turkish Tennis Federation and the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation

Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) and the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation (KTF) have signed an important "Cooperation Protocol (Memorandum of Understanding – MOU)" to support the development of tennis and enhance the sharing of knowledge and experience.

The protocol was signed by Turkish Tennis Federation President Şafak Müderrisgil and Kazakhstan Tennis Federation President Bulat Utemuratov at the Almaty Open, an ATP tournament held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

This agreement aims to further strengthen the strong friendship and long-standing sports relations between the two countries, with the goal of achieving common development objectives in the field of tennis.

Purpose and Scope of the Cooperation

The main purpose of the protocol is the comprehensive development of the sport of tennis in both countries, the establishment of a lasting cooperation model between the two federations, and the sharing of best practice examples.

The main areas where the cooperation will be conducted are:

High-Performance Athlete and Coach Development: Joint training camps, coach exchange programs, and the sharing of national team experiences.

Youth and Junior Tennis: Joint projects for the development of young talents in the 12, 14, and 16 & under categories.

Tournament Organization and Management: Sharing knowledge and experience in the planning and management of national and international tournaments.

Coach Education and Officiating: Mutual cooperation on education systems, certification processes, and referee development.

Facility Management and Infrastructure Development: The development and management of high-standard tennis centers.

Wheelchair Tennis and Mass Participation: Inclusive projects for athletes with disabilities and the popularization of tennis throughout society.

Implementation and Process Management

Both federations will appoint a coordinator for the implementation of the agreement and will ensure the regular execution of activities. The parties will meet at regular intervals to evaluate progress and identify new cooperation opportunities. The protocol will be valid for a period of three years from the date of signing.

A Shared Vision for Lasting Success in Tennis

With this agreement, the Turkish Tennis Federation and the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation aim to build a strong sports bridge between the two countries, contributing to the international development of tennis, offering more opportunities to young athletes, and achieving lasting success.
