Turkish Tennis Federation Takes on Coordination of the "TENNIS 4 ALL" Project in Europe
The Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) has taken on the
coordination of the "TENNIS 4 ALL - Developing Inclusive and Sustainable
Tennis in Europe" project, which aims to increase the inclusivity and
sustainability of tennis in Europe. Supported by the Erasmus+ Sport Programme,
the project is being carried out with the participation of partner
organizations from Romania, Türkiye, and Spain.
International Cooperation
The project includes the University of "Dunărea de
Jos" (Romania), Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (Türkiye), and
INNETICA (Spain) as partners. This transnational consortium will act with a
shared vision for the development of tennis in both its social and
environmental dimensions.
Inclusivity at the Forefront
TENNIS 4 ALL aims to increase access to the sport of tennis
for vulnerable groups such as individuals with disabilities, young people from
disadvantaged backgrounds, and refugees. Within the scope of the project,
special training methods will be developed for these groups, and coaches will
be offered inclusive training.
Digitalizing Tennis
The project will contribute to the digital transformation of
the sport by developing innovative solutions for coaches and athletes. In this
context, an online training platform and an AI-supported mobile performance
analysis application will be launched. Thus, tennis will achieve a more
accessible and efficient structure.
Sustainability Vision
TENNIS 4 ALL aims to reduce the ecological footprint of
tennis by integrating environmentally friendly practices into sports clubs. The
use of recyclable equipment and energy-saving policies will be encouraged
within the project.
Leadership of the Turkish Tennis Federation
With its 723 clubs and over 60,000 licensed athletes, the
Turkish Tennis Federation is leading this significant Europe-wide project. The
TTF is paving the way for transformation in sports by working with its European
partners to create an inclusive, digital, and sustainable tennis ecosystem.
