Türkiye Lost 3-1 to Serbia in the Davis Cup

In the Davis Cup World Group I series between Türkiye and Serbia, held in Niš, Serbia, our National Men's Team lost 3-1 to Serbia.

Starting the Davis Cup Türkiye-Serbia series 2-0 behind, on the second day of the series, the duo of Arda Azkara/Ergi Kırkın faced the pair of Ivan Sabanov/Matej Sabanov in the first match. The Azkara/Kırkın duo lost to Ivan Sabanov/Matej Sabanov 4-6, 6-1, 6-4.

The fourth match of the series continued with Arda Azkara facing Branko Djuric. Arda Azkara, experiencing his first Davis Cup match in the Serbia series, defeated Branko Djuric 7-5, 6-7, 10-7 to secure his first Davis Cup victory.

Our National Men's Team, which lost 3-1 to Serbia, will compete in the 2026 World Group I Play-Off.
