Silver Medal for Tuncay Duran and Mert Alkaya

At the FISU 2025 World University Summer Games held in Essen, Germany, the duo of Tuncay Duran and Mert Alkaya won the silver medal after losing 3-6, 6-2, 10-3 in the men’s doubles final against Egor Agafonov and Ilia Simakin.

The national team athletes became the first representatives in our history to reach a tennis final and win a medal at the World University Games. Our athletes were coached by Bülent Duran.
