“TTF Support for Tennis Variable Fund”

In partnership with Türkiye’s leading portfolio management company İş Asset Management and the Turkish Tennis Federation, “İş Asset Management TTF Support for Tennis Variable Fund” has been established to create a positive impact on the development of tennis in our country. Investors who choose to invest their savings in Türkiye’s first and only Tennis Support Fund will also be contributing to the long-term success of promising Turkish tennis players selected based on specific criteria.

Launched to support the development of sports, the İş Asset Management TTF Support for Tennis Variable Fund is now available to investors through the collaboration between İş Asset Management and the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF). İş Asset Management aims to to provide financial support to selected Turkish athletes according to certain criteria with transfering 50% of the fund management fees to TTF.

Traded on the TEFAS platform under the code TND, the TTF Support for Tennis Variable Fund can be purchased through the investment accounts of clients of all banks and brokerage firms. It stands out as the first impact investment fund with a focus on sports. Thanks to this innovative structure, investors can aim for financial returns while directly contributing to the success of Turkish tennis.

The fund’s investment strategy targets real returns in Turkish lira over the medium and long term. Its asset allocation, composed of both domestic and international instruments, is flexibly adjusted based on market conditions giving investors the opportunity to benefit from dynamic market shifts.

Statement from İş Asset Management General Manager Burak Sezercan:

As İş Asset Management, while our own establishment dates back 25 years, we operate with the institutional values of İş Bankası, which has prioritized economic and social development for over a century. When developing investment products, we focus not only on financial performance, but also on transformation themes like sustainability, gender equality, and technology. We offer these products in an accessible format suitable for every budget. This approach of İş Asset Management reflects the commitment not only to innovation in investment but also to social responsibility. Sports are a powerful tool that unite societies, empower individuals, and support community development. Through sport, values such as solidarity, respect, discipline, and fairness are both learned and lived, while a sense of belonging grows. With this vision, we launched the TND – İş Asset Management Support for Tennis Variable Fund in partnership with the Turkish Tennis Federation to support successful athletes in tennis, a sport that contributes to individual growth and the building of a more conscious, respectful, and healthy society. Through this fund, the investment world meets impact investing in the field of sports development. Investors who wish to generate financial returns while also making a positive contribution to social and athletic progress can consider adding the TND Fund to their portfolios. As İş Asset Management, we will transfer 50% of our commission income from this fund to the Turkish Tennis Federation to provide ongoing support to tennis in Türkiye.

Statement from Turkish Tennis Federation President Şafak Müderrisgil:

“İş Asset Management TTF Support for Tennis Variable Fund, established in collaboration with İş Asset Management, marks the beginning of a new era not only in the financial world but also within our sporting community. As the first and only sports fund in Türkiye created through a federation partnership, this fund aims to provide both financial resources and added value

for our athletes, specifically within the field of tennis. By merging finance and sports into a single platform, this innovative funding model allows investors to not only gain financial returns but also to directly contribute to the growth of Turkish tennis.

The funds transferred to the Turkish Tennis Federation will be used to support athlete development, facilitate the rise of young talents to the international stage, and ensure the sustainability of Turkish tennis success globally. As the Turkish Tennis Federation, we are not only focused on today’s victories, but are also leading efforts to invest in the future of tennis and nurture tomorrow’s champions.

Of course, the long-term success of these efforts relies on collective action from all stakeholders in the sports ecosystem. Today’s launch is a powerful example of how the business world and individuals alike can take active responsibility in the development of sport.

On this occasion, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the İş Asset Management team for this valuable collaboration that prioritizes both athletic development and social benefit. I would also like to wholeheartedly thank every investor who chooses to support Turkish tennis by investing in this fund.

I am confident that the success of this fund will pave the way for new projects, partnerships, and hopes. Let us come together to build the future of Turkish tennis and make the Turkish Tennis Movement a reality.”

National Tennis Player Zeynep Sönmez’s comments:

“Tennis is a very expensive sport. You need a coach, a physiotherapist, and a core team all of which come at a cost. That is why support like this is incredibly valuable for athletes. Having a solid team behind you gives you peace of mind during tournaments. We dedicate ourselves to sport from a very young age, working tirelessly to succeed. It’s a pleasant feeling to finally reap the rewards in the tournaments we have dreamed about since childhood. Knowing that I can inspire others makes it even more meaningful.”

Commenting on her success at Wimbledon, Sönmez said:

“I arrived in Wimbledon early and started training ahead of time. A relative of us was filming one of my practices, and my coach jokingly said, ‘Zeynep, I see you playing in the third round.’ We all laughed. There was a great atmosphere, and I had prepared well. My first opponent was someone I greatly respected. I came from behind to win that match, and many of my matches in Wimbledon went that way. Playing in the main draw for the first time made me a little nervous. However, we prepared really well for the second match. I had the chance to watch and analyze my opponent. I didn’t feel alone in London; I had so much support. My team was with me every step of the way. After winning the second match, I started getting messages from people. Some even traveled from Türkiye and were camping in London just to watch me play. That made me very emotional. It was hard to hold it together before walking onto the court. It’s a memory I will never forget. I feel so lucky. Reaching the third round is a great achievement, and I hope it’s just the beginning both for me and for Turkish tennis.”

About the Turkish Tennis Federation

Although the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) became an independent body in 1953, its roots trace back to the Sports Games Federation within the Turkish Sports Clubs Association, making it nearly as old as the Republic itself. Headquartered in Ankara, the TTF also operates National Tennis Training and Camp Centers in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, along with 307 licensed and affiliated tennis clubs across the country.

Gaining autonomous status in 2004, the Turkish Tennis Federation continues its mission to promote and develop tennis throughout Türkiye. Under the leadership of President Şafak Müderrisgil, TTF’s vision is to establish Turkish tennis as a constant and competitive force on the global stage.
